The latest engineering marvels to come from this objective are the all-new Transporter 2 FPV Goggles and the E8 Transmitter. With the Transporter 2, our engineers went to the drawing board in order to address common issues plaguing many FPV goggles in the industry.
 One of these common issues is addressing pilots who improve over time to which as they upgrade to more professional tools will be left with outdated equipment. In order to address this concern and create a goggle which grows with the user, the Transporter 2 features a detachable screen which can then be used for a variety of uses from equipment backups to a portable way for pilots to share their flight experiences with friends and family.
 Built into this monitor is a DVR unit which allows pilots to record their flights and store them onto a memory card. This way, users can share their flights online or review flight logs in the case of an emergency.
Another common issue is for the sight impaired who may struggle to wear a complete headset. In order to address this problemm, included with the Transporter 2 is a monitor mount which can be attached to the E8 Transmitter allowing anyone the capability of flight in any situation.

Whether it is preference or required, users will be able to pilot the way they prefer! Unlike previous generations of FPV equipment, the E8 transmitter has also been ergonomically designed to fit a wide variety of flight styles from thumb style to pinch style to suit a large variety of pilots.
Paired together are eight channels of control and switches for a large variety of uses allowing pilots the modularity they will need to excel in order to improve the control of the aircraft. The E8 transmitter has been designed around industry-grade gimbal technology allowing high resolution and smoothness to be achieved. This allows pilots to grow with their transmitter for a longer period of time as they progress higher in their skill level reducing the need for beginners to upgrade when flying expert level aircraft.Â

These were a great first pair of FPV goggles and I estimate I did 20ish flight hours use out of them. However, the battery pack would drain the battery if left inside (even when unplugged) and after 7 months of reasonable use the battery pack shorted completely and smoked up (thankfully not while on my head). So note that you get what you pay for and this is a good stepping stone for some higher quality goggles.

I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it seems to be okay. Lots of noise and artefacts but it’s probably just an analog thing. I like that the screen can be popped out, makes debugging and modifying the OSD really convenient. Micro B is a minus.
