Description

The HOTA S6 supports 2 channels of 400W charging and features a highly optimized charging algorithm with high efficiency. This charger does it all, without over complicating things. It’s easy to configure with a clear color LCD, user friendly interface, and has the added bonus of a 5V USB port AND 12V XT60 output for FPV monitors and other electronics!

    I love that this unit can also be used as a generic DC power supply. My other electronics projects (outside of FPV) will also benefit.

    It ticked most of the boxes that I was looking for. The two areas of concern for me was:- 1, my original system of charging had banana plugs which I had to replace with XT60’s. I still have batteries with dean’s plugs and now some of the bigger battery packs have the blue plugs so being restricted to XT60 could be challenging.
    2, Thank goodness for YouTube for showing me how to set up the base line for the charging perimeters. The default settings could cause issues during use. A paper instruction booklet giving clear guidance would have helped me.
    Price and delivery times were excellent. My last mains power charger has lasted me for twenty odd years, hopefully this one will last just as long.
