must take note that there three maybe four different sized tips to choose so make sure you measure yours and buy the right one. the end that goes in there are diffrent lengths to choose from. check and double check.

When trying to solder 12 AWG wire to an EXT60 plug, found none of the standard tips that came with the TS100 were big enough to hold the necessary heat to do the job. Sweated over it for some while without success. So ordered the TS-C4 tip – the biggest available. Using this tip, the job was done in a jiffy. If you are wanting to apply a lot of heat in a hurry, or to ‘heavy’ components, this is the tip for you!
