The SOURCE ONE is a wide-stance X configuration frame, popular for freestyle or free-range acrobatic flying. It is built to withstand harsh crashes and abuse. It fits and protects all the classic FPV components and is optimized for light weight. The SOURCE ONE is a perfect everyday workhorse for casual FPV flying and competitive freestyle.
The TBS Source One Project
The SOURCE ONE project is a first of its kind collaborative FPV frame project initiated by Team BlackSheep. The frame is donated to the community to empower creators and makers, and integrate best practices and current trends faster into a continuously manufactured product. In return, it allows the local distribution network to have cheap and direct access to a good frame in order to allow them compete in an increasingly predatory marketplace.
The hope is for this frame to enable broad access to FPV thanks to a low price point, great documentation and wide availability of compatible parts and accessories, without violating other people’s intellectual property.

Frame Came in under 100g……Also Flys pretty good, Im not a “Discount Mr Steele N.Z edition” kind of guy so durabillity level is likly well suited to what I want to do. GoPro Camera mounting is same as an ImpulceRC Apex. Fits a mini size 21mm camera (had to design and print spacers for a nano so watch that). Overall instantly lost 30g off my build, so $1.75 per gram lost. Could easy run 20-25mm standoffs with a TPU cam mount and lower CG. Certainly not a Pagent winner, but its light AF.

Stay away if you are wanting something that will last and wanting consistency. Frame tolerances are far to great and variable from piece to piece, really sloppy fitment. didn’t even get to crash it and now i throw in the bin. Save the headaches
